Up In The Sky!

Ok, so even though the story of my little animation is still being worked on, the main idea is there. Therefore, as the artist, I must begin modeling as much of what will be put into the project as soon as possible. I know for sure one of the main scenes will involve an airplane. So, I have begun modeling a 747 jumbo jet. This image is about 45 minutes into it and I just wanted to share what the primary look of a model looks like as opposed to how it will look when I am done. I'll post images to show the progression of this first official 3d model of the project.

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to my blog. For those of you who do not know who I am, sucks to be you. No, but seriously, my name is Cory and I am an aspiring Game Developer/3D Animator. I am a college graduate with a degree in Game Design and Computer Graphics. The purpose of this site is to keep track of my progress as I create (or attempt to create) a short film in 3D. From pre-production to post, I will go through my entire process, even if I fail. And the reason why I call this blog 1 Man 3D Band is because the entire production of the short will be done by yours truly. I will also be posting videos to update for people who want to see my animations in progress as well as me being too lazy to type. So I hope you enjoy this site as this will be my outlet as we go on this huge undertaking!
